Non-combo vs combo CX containers

A non-combo CX container is the classified room itself: a 14-gauge steel container with marine-grade epoxy coating, explosion-proof LED lighting, exhaust ventilation, a control panel built to UL 508A, LEL gas detection, alarms, a fire-resistive man door and exit signage. Choose insulated or non-insulated. A combo adds the process equipment, installed and wired at the factory so the container arrives ready for startup.

Containers suit sites without indoor space, temporary operations and remote locations. Designs are engineer/peer reviewed and built to ETL and UL 1389 standards. The same container platform is used for our BSE outdoor battery storage enclosures and for outdoor hazardous location rooms.

What does “combo” mean?

A combo container ships with process equipment installed and wired. A non-combo container is the classified room only, ready for your own equipment.

Insulated or non-insulated?

Choose insulated for climate-controlled processes or cold sites. Pricing for both is shown on each CX product page.

Is the container installed at the factory?

Yes. Equipment is installed at our factory; a few items may be remounted on site because of road travel limits.
