Lead time
Ships in 6–8 weeks for most models; custom units 8–10 weeks depending on size. In-stock units may be available but are not guaranteed. The expected ship date is confirmed with your order confirmation; carrier delivery dates are estimates.
Freight and shipping
- Freight for the LBC-100 is quoted, so it is ordered through a quote rather than online checkout.
- Ships by truck (LTL) freight to commercial addresses in the lower 48 states and Washington, DC. No PO boxes. Alaska, Hawaii, US territories and international delivery are freight quoted.
- The flat rate covers standard delivery to a commercial address with a loading dock or forklift. Liftgate, residential, limited-access, construction-site or inside delivery, or a delivery appointment, are quoted before shipment; if you do not accept the extra charge you can cancel for a full refund.
- Unloading and moving the cabinet into position is your responsibility unless included in your order. Have a forklift or pallet jack and enough people available.
- Inspect every shipment before signing. Note any damage on the delivery receipt, take photos, and report damage (including concealed damage) within 5 business days of delivery.
- Refused or undeliverable shipments may incur return freight, redelivery and storage charges.
Pricing, tax and payment terms
- Prices are in US dollars for the standard configuration. Installation and optional systems are quoted separately.
- California sales tax is added for California deliveries. Outside California, you are responsible for any use tax due. Resale or tax-exempt buyers should send their certificate before ordering.
- Payment, including freight and any sales tax, is due when you place your order unless other terms are agreed in writing.
- An order is accepted when we confirm it by email. Title and risk of loss pass to you on delivery.
Cancellation, returns and refunds
- Before production starts (usually within 2 business days): cancel for a full refund.
- After production starts, before shipment: standard products can be cancelled for a refund less a fee of 10% of the product price or $500, whichever is greater.
- Returns: standard products may be returned within 30 days of delivery if unused, uninstalled, never loaded with batteries, undamaged, complete, in original crating, and authorized with a return authorization (RMA) number.
- A restocking fee of 10% of the product price or $500, whichever is greater, applies to returns not caused by our error or a manufacturer defect. Freight is non-refundable, and return freight is paid by the buyer.
- Custom units are final sale and cannot be returned, exchanged or cancelled once production has started.
- Damaged, defective or incorrect items reported within 5 business days are repaired, replaced or refunded with no restocking fee or freight charge. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days of approval.
Warranty
One-year limited warranty to the original purchaser against manufacturer defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and proper installation, from the date of delivery. Electrical and third-party components (fans, detectors, sensors, controls, lighting, outlets, fire suppression devices) are covered by their manufacturers’ warranties, which we pass on where we can. Not covered: transit damage, misuse, improper installation or storage practices, overloading, fire, thermal runaway or explosion events, loss of stored contents, modifications, normal wear and consumables. To make a claim, contact us within 30 days of finding the defect with your order number, model, description and photos; do not return a product until we give instructions.
Safety and scope
C1D1 Booths does not claim or guarantee that any enclosure or cabinet will prevent thermal runaway, fire or explosion. The LBC-100 is designed to UL 1487 and NFPA 855 standards to help contain and manage lithium-ion battery storage risk and to support code compliance. The owner is responsible for proper installation and for approval by the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).
LBC-100 FAQ
What is included?
Standard configuration includes three levels of wraparound perforated shelving across the rear and side walls plus a fabricated handling base. Battery packs shown in photos are not included.
Can I request information before purchasing?
Yes. Use Request a Quote for model selection, installation context, or product questions without starting the standard order path.
Can this unit be customized?
Yes. Request a quote for reinforced shelving, CP2000 advanced ventilation, monitoring, electrical options, fire-assembly construction options, or other engineered requirements. Custom units are final sale.
Can the LBC-100 be reviewed for LiFePO4 batteries?
Yes. C1D1 Booths can review LiFePO4 (LFP) and other lithium-ion battery formats. Final suitability depends on the battery manufacturer’s instructions, dimensions, quantity, state of charge, condition, spacing, intended activity, and installation requirements.
Is a universal energy limit published for each cabinet?
No. Battery energy, geometry, quantity, separation, condition, intended activity, detection, ventilation, electrical work, suppression strategy and site requirements must be considered together.
Are the shelves adjustable or available reinforced?
Shelf spacing is finalized for the selected cabinet and battery form factor. Reinforced shelving and custom layouts are available by application review. Perforated shelves help preserve open paths around stored battery packs.
Is active ventilation included?
No universal active-ventilation package is included. Passive arrangements, optional exhaust, the CP2000 advanced ventilation package, monitoring, alarm behavior and controls are selected by application and quoted on review.
Can gas monitoring or LEL detection be added?
Application-specific monitoring may be available. Sensor type, alarm thresholds, set points, fan interlocks, shutdown behavior, notifications and building-control integration are selected for the actual battery and operating environment.
Can outlets or charging equipment be installed inside?
The standard LBC-100 is for storage only, not charging. Electrical outlets and service options are available by configuration; charging changes the application basis, so electrical load, heat, battery-management behavior, ventilation, detection and emergency procedures must be reviewed before order release.
What fire-suppression and control options are available?
Configured examples include Stat-X fire suppression and an external fire-control panel. Final equipment, activation method, controls, documentation and authority review depend on the project. Product images do not represent a universal package.
Are fire-assembly construction options available?
Yes. Fire-assembly construction options can be configured by application review to match what your local fire authority requires. Your AHJ gives final approval.
How is the cabinet moved and placed?
The fabricated handling base provides pallet jack and forklift handling access for placement. Confirm the delivery path, equipment capacity, floor condition, clearances, anchoring, final weight and placement procedure before movement.
Can it be installed indoors or outdoors?
The LBC is primarily a compact cabinet platform. Indoor or outdoor suitability depends on final construction, environmental exposure, temperature, moisture, corrosion, electrical equipment, ventilation and installation details. Confirm the intended location with us before ordering.
Can damaged, swollen, hot or recalled batteries be stored like normal inventory?
Do not assume normal inventory procedures apply. Follow the battery manufacturer’s emergency and handling instructions, your facility emergency plan, and direction from qualified safety personnel or emergency services.
Should the fire marshal, insurer or AHJ review the installation?
Project stakeholders may require review of location, separation, access, electrical work, ventilation, detection, suppression, signage, emergency planning and stored inventory. Confirm requirements with your AHJ, insurer, battery manufacturer and qualified project professionals.
What information should I provide before selecting a cabinet?
Battery manufacturer and model, chemistry, dimensions, quantity, condition, state-of-charge range, intended activity, preferred shelf spacing, indoor or outdoor location, floor area, handling route, site power, and any fire-marshal or insurer requirements.
How do I choose between the LBC-30, 40, 60, 80 and 100?
Start with battery dimensions, quantity, shelf access, floor area, door clearance, handling path and intended activity. The LBC-30 and 40 are compact; the LBC-60 and 80 provide full-height storage; the LBC-100 adds a deeper body, wider opening and rear-and-side shelving.
Which facilities use compact lithium battery cabinets?
EV dealerships, fleet and last-mile depots, e-bike and micromobility service, aviation maintenance, warehouses, laboratories, education facilities and equipment service centers that manage removable lithium-ion or LiFePO4 batteries.
